The English Learning Center in Sainshand / Mongolia
Erdmiin Urguu ("The Learning House") is a social entrepreneur start-up.
It was established in May 2017 by Batchimeg Purevjav and a international group of 9 social entrepreneurs from the GMP4+ program of the WHU Otto Steinbeis University in cooperation with Bookbridge.
Our Aim
It offers high quality english eductation for pupils, students and adults in the community of Sainshand / Mongolia. We offer specifically designed english classes for every need.
Small classes and individual tutition ensure better sucess for your kids in school or at the univeristy.
A better grasp on english creates new and better job opportunites for you.
Erdmiin Urguu is so much more than just an English Learning Center. We have a library with a wide range of traditional english literature to recent (graphic) novels and english board games. There are events like movie nights as well.
Our aim is to provide a good place for for people of all ages in the heart of our Sainshand community.
Our Offers
Formal English lessons for kids (4-12 years), teenager (13-18) and for adults (18+)
We offer modern English classes based on Cambridge English and the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The curriculum is a student centered high quality program which aims to achieve a mastery level in 6 levels in terms of speaking, reading, listening and writing. Small group sizes, modern text books and digital teaching material provide the environment for effective and fun-based learning.
Practice speaking for Teens and for Adults
We offer practical classes with the focus on speaking ability for all ages. The program is centered around using English in everyday life situations and getting confident in having conversations on various levels and in different life and work situations. Digital teaching material is used and students are encouraged in interactive role plays to practice and develop their speaking abilities in a fun environment and in relaxed small classes.
Homework Help
We offer for our students open house hours for individual homework help and support in any English language questions through our experienced teachers. Meet in our house of learning, search for books in our library, access the internet through our computers and work in teams on all your study topics or any daily life language question.
Private Lessons
We offer for all ages individual one-on-one lessons with our experienced teachers. The curriculum is tailor made for the needs and requirements of the student.
Games for Kids (< 13 years) and for Teens (15-18 years)
We offer a special fun loaded program to learn daily life English through games and fun activities. The goal of the program is to develop speaking and listening abilities of the students while having fun playing games in English. In this very practical and interactive program students will develop a high degree of confidence in speaking English and will significantly increase their active vocabulary.
